Tommy Fant, age 69, a resident of Traylors Nursing Home for the past year, died at Chambers County Hospital on Monday, September 13, at 4:25 a.m. following a heart attack a few hours earlier.
He was born in Chambers County January 20, 1907.
Survivors include one son, Hollis Fant, Penton; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Wayne Allen and Mrs. Luther Cadenhead, both of LaFayette, and Mrs. John L. Warlick of LaGrange, GA.
Funeral services were held at Rock Spring Baptist Church, of which he was a member, on Tuesday, September 14, at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. William Choate officiating. Interment was in the *Mountain Spring Cemetery. Johnson & Sanders were in charge.
