James B. Shinn, 69, of Paden City departed this life Sunday January 25, 2009 at his home. He was born in Tyler County, June 27, 1939 a son of the late E. A. and Lola Kinney Shinn
Jim was a carpenter and a plumber. He was a protestant.
Jim is survived by his wife of 31 years, Carolyn Smith Shinn. A son James B. Shinn and his wife Jennifer of Sistersville. Three daughters; Sherry Henry and her husband Keith, Sheila Irvin and her husband Rex all of Paden City and Cheryl McFadden and her husband Steve of NC. A brother Patrick Shinn of New Martinsville. A sister Becky Haught of Middlebourne. Seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Friends will be received at the Furbee Funeral Home, Middlebourne Tuesday 6 - 9 pm. There will be no funeral service.
