Mrs. Louise Jane Darr, widow of Samuel G. Darr, died Tuesday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Martie Glaze, where she made her home on Ranson Drive.

Born March 4, 1872, she was the daughter of Larry and Amanda Henry Figgins. Surviving are her children, Mrs. W. B. Sloat, of Shenandoah Junction, WV, Mrs. Clarence Wright, of Shenandoah Junction, WV, Mrs. R. R. Darr, of Shenandoah Junction, WV, Mr. H. H. Darr, of Shenandoah, VA, Mr. F. Darr, of Ranson, WV, Mr. L. A. Darr, of Hagerstown, MD, Mrs. Martie Glaze. of Ranson, WV, Miss Atis Darr, of Hagerstown, MD, Mrs. Robert Weller, of Charles Town, WV, 33 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Mrs. Julia Walthers of Front Royal, VA and Mrs. Henry (Elizabeth) Sealock of Front Royal, VA, 2 brothers, Mr. Russell Figgins of Front Royal, VA and Mr. Jesse Figgins of Louisa, VA.

Friends will be received at Melvin T. Strider Funeral Home until Friday at noon, when the body will be taken to Williams Memorial Methodist Church in Shenandoah Junction, where services will be held at 2:00PM with Rev. J. D. Sergeant officiating and Rev. Samuel Butcher to assist. Burial in the Edge Hill Cemetery in Charles Town.
