Don Bert Adams, 85, of Tool died Wednesday, January 21, 2009 in Lubbock. He was born October 14, 1923 in Ferris, son of the late George C. and Hesta Adams. He retired as a fireman for the Dallas Fire Dept.
Surviving are two sons, David Neal Adams, Bruce and wife Jane Adams; two daughters, Donita and husband Jerry Sanders, Jan Marie and husband Jerald Swanson; brother, David Adams; sister, Barsha and husband Bobbie Whitley; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents, George and Hesta Buckelew; wife, Juaniata Jo Yearout Adams; wife, Maudie McWhorter Adams; and granddaughter, Samantha Jo Sanders.
Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, January 24, 2009 in the Tool Cemetery with Bro. Floyd Lovin officiating under the direction of Tomlinson Funeral Home of Seven Points.
