Orville L. Arnold, 80, of Branchland, husband of Maxine Arnold, died January 22, 2009 at home. He was a son of the late Fred and Lillie Roy Arnold. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Janette; a granddaughter, Spicie Renee; and three brothers, Herbert, Lowell and Carl "Sug". He was retired from the WV Department of Highways. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Maxine Arnold; five children and their spouses, Lawrence Arnold, Jr. and Josephine of Branchland, WV; Regina and David Adkins of Kitts Hill, OH; Eugene and Robin Arnold of Midkiff, WV; Melody Arnold of Barboursville, WV; and John Arnold of Branchland, WV. Three brothers, Carlos Arnold of Eastlake, OH; Edward Arnold of Midkiff, WV; and Cecil Arnold of Huntington, WV. Two sisters, Mabel Justice of Cleveland, OH and Maxine Boyd of Cambridge, OH; 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Funeral service 2 p.m. Sunday, January 25 at McGhee Handley Funeral Home at West Hamlin, WV. Visitation 6-9 p.m. Saturday, January 24 at the funeral home.
