Amos I. Abbott, 83, died July 3, 2000.
He was a native of Reagen, NE, and a resident of Fort Pierce for 55 years.
Mr. Abbott was a veteran of the Army, serving in World War II.
Survivors include his daughter, Patricia Frances Joyner of Fort Pierce; sons, Gordon Ray Carraway of Fort Pierce, Curtis Everette Carraway of Fort Pierce and David Wayne Carraway of Huntsville, AL; brothers, Clarence Abbott of
Texas, Oren Abbott of Nebraska, and Chester Abbott of Oklahoma; sisters, Viola Brevard of Nebraska and Altra Payton of Colorado; and 12 grandchildren.
Mr. Abbott was preceded in death by his wife, Rosa Abbott, in 1994.

Burial in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
