Mrs. Anderson was a 1951 graduate of Jackson High School and a housewife. She worked for the state chamber of commerce two years and Eli Lilly, Indianapolis, four years. She was a waitress at several Thorntown restaurants; the last was Stookeys. She was a member of New Hope Church, Colfax, Indiana.

Mrs. Anderson was born December 18, 1932 in Hamilton County, Indiana to Harold and Esther Lorraine Williams Bragg. She married Jerry E. Anderson in Edgefield, South Carolina on March 1, 1957, and he preceded her in death on June 3, 1999.

Surviving are a son, Stephen Anderson of Lebanon; two daughters, Stepahne Anderson Feldhacker of Tucson, Arizona and Connie Stevens of Lebanon; two sisters, Betty Stambaugh of Colfax and Virginia Way of Thorntown; and three grandchildren.
