Die Verstorbene hinterläßt einen Gatten und 7 Kinder, wovon das Kleinste erst einige Tage alt ist. Die liebe Schwester lebte in den letzten drei Jahren in voller Glaubenszuversicht und pries angesichts des Todes durch Worte und Lieder die erlösende Gnade unseres Herrn Jesu Christi. Die Leichenrede wurde gehalten von N. F. Toews über Ps. 31, 6. – Der Herr schenke auch uns Lesern, wenn einmal unsere Stunde schlägt, viel Gnade zum Sterben, damit wir mit David unsern Geist in des treuen Vaters Hände befehlen können.
