Margaret L. Malone passed away Friday, Feb. 27, 2004. She leaves behind her dear loving husband, Charles E. Malone Jr., a son and daughter - in - law, Calvin and Julie Malone, all of Salem, and a daughter and son - in - law, Wayna and Jason Dean, of Springfield; grandchildren, Jeremy White, Michelle hurst, Sheila Phillips, Cad Paris, and Sara Coleman; great - grandchildren, Vanessa and Robert White, Phoenix Bryson, Isssaac Rite, and Owen Coleman; a brother, Tony Calin of Osceola, father and mother - in - law, Charles and Bertha Malone of Salem; brothers and sisters - in - law, Bob and Monica Malone of Linn, and Larry and Kathy Malone of Salem,,,,,,,,,,, and a host of extended family.
Margaret was preced in death by her parents Jerry and Maurine Calvin, a sister and brother -in - law Elmer P. and Janice Calvin Beard, a sister - in- law Darlene Dobbs Calvin, and a beloved daughter, Pamela Hurst.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday, march 2, at James & Gahr Mortuary, Salem. Burial was at Morrison Cemetery. The Malone Family reqest in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Morrison Cemetery foundation.
Margaret lived most of her life in the Ava and Salem communities. She was a Christian from an early age.
