My paternal grandmother's (Augusta Short Compton) mother, Jessie died shortly after giving birth - presumably of childbirth complications. My grandmother was nearly 5 years old. Jessie was originally buried elsewhere, but was re-buried in Oakwood Cemetery in Comanche when my grandparents bought this plot because my grandmother wanted her to be near her.
