(Walter) Charles Lewis Boynton, known as C.L. Boynton was born in Quanah, TX as the son of William J. and Eula Zone Richardson Boynton. He lived most of his life in Hardeman County - leaving only to serve in WWII then returning to serve the area as Texas State Game Warden for many years. He was transfered to Wilbarger County so he and Irene moved there where they lived out their lives. He was a great supporter of Boys and Girls Club. Charles served as City Judge for several years and was an avid hunter and sportsman.
