MOULTRIE — Herschel "Dick" Bivins, 64, of Moultrie, died Monday, Jan. 12, 2009, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 14, in Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Goff and Ricky Wood officiating.
Burial will follow in Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with Steve Hall, Doug Eldridge, Mark Thomas, Alan Bivins, Donald Bivins, and Paul Nagy serving as casket bearers.
Born July 4, 1944, in Colquitt County, he was the son of the late Dover Degrant Bivins and Rosa Lee Barber Bivins.
He was retired from Hudson Motors and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Visitation will be today, Jan. 13, from 6 to 8 p.m. Baker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
