Mrs. Eliza Ashcraft
NAMPA (Special) — Mrs. Eliza Ashcraft, 77, of 209 Ninth avenue south, Nampa, died Sunday in a local nursing home.
She was born Feb. 1, 1879, in Wales, and later came to the United States, settling in Hyde Park, Utah, where she resided until she married Enoch Ashcraft in 1896. They moved to the Teton area in eastern Idaho and resided there for 20 years before moving to the Boise valley, and to Nampa in 1935. Mr. Ashcraft died in 1938. She was a member of the LDS church.
Survivors include five sons; Victor of Newport, Ore., Harvey of Kamiah, Idaho, Wayland of Bakersfield, Calif., Rex of Nampa, and Donald Ashcraft, Seattle; three daughters, Mrs. Retha Bird, Burley, Mrs. Grace Romph, Nampa and Mrs. Juanita Hume, Wilder, and 13 grandchildren.
Alsip chapel will announce services.
