Lillie E. Anderson, 97, of the Villa of St. Francis in Morris died Thursday, June 1, at the Villa.

She was born March 29, 1903, in Rendsville Township, Stevens County, to Nels J. and Ida (Erlandson) Anderson. She was baptized and confirmed at the Fridhem Lutheran Church in Barrett. Lillie attended rural school and continued her education in Fergus Falls. She enjoyed sewing and gardening and belonged to the Peace Lutheran Church in Barrett, where she was a member of the ladies aid.

She was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers, Roger, Harold, John, Herbert, Nathan and Walter; and three sisters, Clara, Mabel and Hildur.

She is survived by 18 nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at the Erickson-Smith Funeral Home in Elbow Lake and one hour prior to the service at the church

Service: Saturday at 2 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in Barrett
