Alma Mae Amick, 83, of 11723 Peacock Trail, Hagerstown, died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2001, at Ravenwood Lutheran Village, Hagerstown.

Born Feb. 4, 1917, in Altoona, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Sherman Guy and Stella Mae Hanks Amick.

She was a caregiver for more than 50 years.

She is survived by three sisters, Irma R. Mowry and Margie L. Osborne, both of Hagerstown, and Lois J. Reighard of Altoona; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Vera G. Toms, Hazel L. Hostler and Virginia Gladys Horner.

Graveside services will be held today at 1 p.m. at Carson Valley Cemetery, Duncansville, Pa. The Rev. Peggy Bonsell will officiate.

There will be no viewing or visitation.

Arrangements are by Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown.
