Mrs. Susie V. McAtee, 88, of Goshen Road, Gaithersburg, died Friday, Dec. 12, at the Montgomery County General Hospital in Olney. She was the wife of the late Clifford McAtee.

Born at Round Hill, Va., Sept. 9, 1812. Mrs. McAtee was a daughter of the late George D. and Martha Virginia Ballenger Savage. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gaithersburg.

Mrs. McAtee is survived by a number of nieces and nephews, and lived with a nephew, Charles J. Savage.

Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 15, at the Otie L. Molesworth Funeral Home in Damascus. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16 at the funeral home. The Rev. Charles L. Updike, First Baptist Church in Gaithersburg, will officiate. Interment will be Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
