CHARLES T. ALLEN DIES SATURDAY; FUNERAL MONDAY Funeral services for Charles Thomas Allen, 61, State Home employee, who died at the P. and S. Hospital early Saturday, were held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the North Side Baptist church. Burial was in the Pattison cemetery at Emhouse. The rites were conducted by Rev. Jack Goff, pastor of the church, and Rev. Buel R. Crouch, Dallas. He was a native of Emhouse. Surviving are six sons, Weldon and Johnny Allen, both of Dallas; W. T. Allen, Corsicana; Marvin Allen, Randolph Field; Duel Allen, Camp Carson; and Wayne Allen, U. S. Marines; two daughters, Mrs. Mary E. Burton, Marshall, and Mrs. Paul Goodwin, Dallas; nine grandchildren, a brother, J. M. Allen,Kerens; four sisters, Mrs. G. D. Derrough, Bay Side; Mrs. C. T. Jones, Waxahachie; Mrs. E. R. Collins, Plainview; and Mrs. A. L. Hill, Tulsa, Okla., and other relatives. Pallbearers were J. P. Shipley, J. C. Colburn. Billy Lambright, Morris Carpenter, W. A. Cannon and Oliver Milner. Honorary pallbearers were H. J. Thomas, J. C. Freeman, D. A. Wright, S. G. Staggs, J. G. Neal and M. L. Kelly. Corley Funeral Home directed.
