Vernrose Lanier, 69, born March 15, 1926 in San Augustine, Texas, died June 2 at Charlton Methodist Hospital in Dallas.
Services will be Sunday, June 4 at 2 p.m. at Maypearl Cemetery under the direction of Lamar and Smith Funeral Directors. The Rev. Kirk Shelton will officiate.
Family members received friends and relatives from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Lanier; (They were married in 1950) four daughters, Ricki Glass, Teresa Lanier, Stefanie Romine and Kristi Hart; one son, Colin Lanier; one sister, Shirley Newby; and seven grandchildren.
