Rossville - Bernice Ethel Bogan, 87, died at 6:40 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 19, in the Milner Community Healthcare Center, where she had been a patient since July 1990.
Mrs. Bogan was born Oct. 13, 1905, at Kirklin. She married Omer Bogan, Dec. 18, 1926, and he died April 16, 1989.
She and her late husband farmed west of Rossville for 42 years. She moved to Rossville in June 1987.
Mrs. Bogan was a former employee of the Frankfort Telephone Co., and later was a cook at the Rossville, Monitor, Buck Creek and West Lafayette schools. She also cooked at the Milner Community Healthcare Center.
She was a member of the Rossville United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two daughters; Mrs. Oscar (Jacqueline) Smith of Muncie and Mrs. Jack (Julia Jo) Shedron of Cloverdale.
