Games, Nancy Strope, age 77, of Sixth Street, Moundsville, died Saturday, January 10, 2009 at home.
She was born December 24, 1931 in Glen Dale, the daughter of the late Roger and Geneva Leach Martin.
She retired after 25 years of service with the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston, a current sales clerk at Macy's Department Store, a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Moundsville, VFW Auxiliary, and loved to travel especially to visit her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Thomas Strope and her second husband Ernie Games.
Survivors include three sons Jim Strope of Glen Dale, Bob (Jan) Strope of Hurricane, West Virginia, and David (Angela) Strope of Mt. Airy, Maryland; three grandchildren Charlie Strope, David and Lauren Strope; a sister Janet (Arch) Granda of Kingwood, Texas, a niece Christine (Tommy) Lee; a nephew Steve Granda; a great-niece Katie Lee.
Family will receive friends on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00am with Rev. Tim Wilt officiating.
Interment in Halcyon Hills Memorial Park, Sherrard.
