Mrs. Mary Addie B Austin, age 99, died Sunday, March 3 at Floy Dyer Manor. Funeral services were held Monday, March 4 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Houston Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Bailey officiating.

The daughter of the late Billy Boring and the late Nannie Kate Pumphrey Boring, she was born in Clay County. She was the widow of the late Hugh Austin and was a Baptist.

Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Mary Triplett of Brooksville, Mrs. Lucille Childs of Houston, Mrs. Lena Armour of Houlka, Mrs. Kate Word of Ashland and Mrs. Elizabeth May of Memphis, Tennessee; four sons, William H Austin of Memphis, Tennessee, Thomas Austin of Houston, James Austin and Robert Austin, both of Oxford; one sister, Mrs. Margaret Baine of Houston; 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were her grandsons, Forrest May, Jr., Larry May, Randy May, Kenneth May, Marshall May and Mike Armour.

Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
