His name was included in list published Sep 14 1865 in the "Missouri Patriot" of "Union Soldiers Buried at Curran(Stone County)MO.
Exhumed in 1867 and moved to Springfield National Cemetery along with approx 15 others.At least 6 soldiers were unidentifiable since the headboards inscribed in pencil were no longer legible. Regiments of soldiers interred included 1st Arkansas Cavalry, 11th Kansas Volunteer Cavalry, Missouri State Militia Cavalry and 19th Iowa Infantry.
