Dad was in the Army/Air Force in WWII, stationed in Guam.
He flew over Tokyo on V-J Day. (Victory over Japan) According to a book World War II from Yuma Colorado he had the following medals: American Campaign, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign, Good Conduc, Distinguished Unit Bade, World War II Victory Medal. He was inducted 12 Dec 1942

His viewing was January 15, 2009 at Rice Mortuary, Torrance, CA.

Dad's burial was private, family only, 11 a.m. Jan. 17, 2009 at Pacific Crest Cemetery, 2701 182nd Street, Redondo Beach.

His memorial service was held at South Bay Christian Church
There was a reception following.

His obit was in The Daily Breeze on January 14, 2009 and also in the Norton Telegram on January 16, 2009.

Dad's the shortest and youngest one in the picture at right, with older Sister Ila and older brother Lloyd Earl "Sonny".
