Born May 28, 1917, in Torrington, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Vinceniza (Falduto) Strano. She was employed by the Torrington Co. as a machine operator until her retirement. She was a member of the St. Peter Holy Rosary Society; she was a Child of Mary and was a lifelong communicant of St. Peter Church.
She is survived by several nephews and nieces.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, Jan. 9, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter Church, 107 E. Main St., Torrington. Burial will follow in St. Francis New Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to The LaPorta-Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington.
