Husband of Edith and father of Barbara, Brenda, William & Bev.

Mr. Beard is the son of the late Lee Beard & Hilda (Farthing) Beard.

Survivors include three brothers, Joseph L. Beard of Rushville; John R. Beard (and wife Eleanor) of San Jose, Calif.; Sean Edward "Jean" Beard of Palm Springs, Calif; and several nieces & nephews.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, James.
