Clifford Ott, aged 84, followed his cherished wife of 60 years, Flo Ott to the arms of their Savior on January 1, 2009. After serving in the Army Air Corp. as a B-26 pilot in World War II, Clifford attended Oklahoma State University graduating with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Clifford had a long and very successful career as a Process Designer, working for several Engineering Contract Firms in the Houston area. He kept his interest in flying, building and flying his own bi-plane. Music was a great love of his, both playing casually with friends and singing in his church choirs. Clifford Ott was a devoted Christian and served along with his wife Flo at Freeway Manor, Gulfway, Arlington Heights and South Main Baptist Churches in the Houston area. Clifford served as the Lord led him, Sunday School Teacher, Choir member, Treasurer and Deacon. Clifford is survived by his loving daughter Luann and husband Ed Gilliam, grandson Daniel Gilliam. He is also survived by his two brothers; Bill and Solomon Ott. His ready smile and gentle teasing will be missed by so many. Someday we will be able to sing the Lord's praise alongside him again. Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Thursday, Jan. 8, 2008 at Chaney's Memorial Chapel with interment at the Durant Family Cemetery.
