Kattie B. Andrews, age 61, of Homosassa, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2008, at the Seven Rivers Regional Medical Center in Crystal River, Fla. Born October 13, 1947, in Dyersburg, Tennessee to Rufus and Flora Westmoreland. She was a member and a former pianist for "The Church of Jesus Christ" in Homosassa, Fla. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Thomas B. Andrews; three daughters, Lanette Strickland, Tammy Herrin and Betty Henley, all of Homosassa, Fla.; and one son, Fabrice Mercier of Nemours, France; three brothers, William and Eris of Homosassa, Fla., and Ronald Westmoreland of Dyersburg, Tennessee; 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. She was loved by many and will be missed by all. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2009, at 5 p.m. from the Strickland Funeral Home Chapel in Crystal River, Fla. Friends may call from 4:00 till service time. She will be laid to rest on Monday at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla. Strickland Funeral Home Crystal River, Fla.
