Son of James Howard and Aliff Jane (Hawk) Carr; he was the husband of Lelah Marie (Powell) Carr; he died at a TB Sanitarium in Rockville, IN directly West of Indianapolis (on Rte. 36),where he had been confined for a long time. Years later their children had his remains exhumed and returned to Berea Cemetery and reinterred beside his wife, Lelah.
