SOUTH BEND - Mrs. Juanita (Bonds) Beasley, a resident of South Kenmore Street, South Bend, Indiana, passed from this life at 7:00 p.m. on Christmas day in the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center at the age of 62. Life for Juanita began on January 31, 1946, in Jackson, Tennessee, when she was born to Emanuel and Amanda (Norman) Bonds Sr.

Mrs. Beasley was employed by St. Mary's College as a building supervisor. She also was an active and longtime member of New Testament Baptist Church, where she served in the choir. She had many friends and will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor.

Her memory will be cherished by a sister, Lucille Williams; a brother, Clifford Bonds; a special niece, Alydia Jefferies; three sisters-in-law, Lillie Yarbough and her husband (Curtis), Beatrice Dodson and her husband (Jim), Rebecca Dixon and her husband (Willie); one brother- in-law, Alphonsio Beasley; along with a host of other nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death along with her parents were her husband, Tommie L. Beasley; brother, Emanuel Bonds Jr.; and one brother-in-law, C.J. Williams.
