CURTIS FRAME

Curtis Frame was born January 25, 1868, departed this life February 9th, 1941. Aged 73 years and 16 days. His family were natives of West Virginia and spent their entire lives in Braxton County. Mr. Frame spent part of his life in the employ of the Coal and Coke Railroad and his latter years were devoted entirely to farming.

On April 29, 1897, he was united in marriage with Mary Jane Friend. This union was blessed with the following children, Mrs. Ella Frame Wilson, Clarence C. Frame, Gladys Frame, all of which are at home. Mrs. Audrey Frame Brady, of Gassaway. His brothers and sisters are Mrs. Effa Frame, deceased; Mrs. Theresa James of Bradford, Ohio; Russell Frame of Frametown; French Frame, deceased; Willard Frame, Richard City, Tenn.; Camden Frame, Frametown; Oran Frame, Detroit, Michigan; Mrs. Emma Hayhurst of Sutton; Lester and Byrne Frame, of Akron, Ohio; Mrs. J. W. Detamore, Alton, W.Va.; G. C. Frame of Tague; Mrs. R. D. Frame of Frametown; his wife, Mary Jane Frame; Mrs. R. S. Stump, step-mother and seven grand-children survive to mourn the loss o ftheir devoted father and friend.

Curtis Frame was a good and useful man and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Buial was in the Frame Cemetery at Frametown. Rev. H. L. Underwood, officiating.
