Orvey Henry Garriott, Jr. 69, Fulton, Missouri passed away Friday, October 3, 2003 at the Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri.
He was born May 10, 1934 in Steedman, Missouri the son of the late Orvey Sr. and Dorothy Nichols Garriott. One June 15, 1955 he was united in marriage to Suzanne Eastwood. She survives at the home.

In addition to his wife of 48 years he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one daughter Tonya Jo Garriott of Fulton; three brothers, Clyde Garriott of Jefferson City, Eugene Garriott of Sedalia, and David Garriott of Williamsburg; one sister, Lena Belle Gallatin of Mokane; four grandchildren; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents, one son and one sister preceded him in death.

Mr. Garriott served his country in the United States Army from 1957 to 1959. He worked as a Journeyman Bookbinder for over 40 years at the Von-Hoffman Press in Jefferson City. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at the Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Brother Bruce Williamson officiating. Interment will be in Middle River Cemetery near Tebbetts, Missouri.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6, 2003 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton.

Orvey Henry Garriott, Jr., 69, of Fulton, died Friday, Oct. 3, 2003, at the Capitol Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.
He was born May 10, 1934, in Steedman, to the late Orvey Sr. and Dorothy (Nichols) Garriott. On June 15, 1955, he married Suzanne Eastwood. She survives of the home.
