Two marriage records have been found:
---He married Delman Grimstead on 23 Apr 1846
---He married Melvina "Viney" Bass on 17 Oct 1877, soon after Delman died.
According to his gravestone he also had a wife named Matilda Joiner. She was probably the mother of Andrew's son, Reason, who was born in 1833, so Matilda was probably the first wife. It has also been speculated that he was also married to a Miss Coleman and this would have been just before or just after Matilda Joiner.
