Marcus Antony Barrett was born Feb. 18, 1999 in Claremore to Amy Maupin and Mark Barrett. He died Friday, March 10, 2006. Marcus was a student at Ellington Elementary in Wagoner. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Jack Richards. He is survived by: his parents, Amy Maupin of Wagoner and Mark Barrett of Pryor; brother Zachary Barrett of Pryor; sisters Madison Barrett of Wagoner and Amber Barrett of Pensacola, Okla.; maternal grandparents Judy Bruton of Wagoner and Bill Bruton of Wagoner; paternal grandmother Donna Richards of Adair; maternal great-grandmother Juell Roach of Columbus, Ga.; paternal great-grandmother Ethel Littlefield of Adair and many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives. Services are scheduled for 1 p.m., Thursday, March 16, 2006 in the New Life Christian Church with the Rev. David Walcot officiating. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner. Arrangements and services were under the direction of Hersman-Nichols Funeral Home, Wagoner.
