Entered into eternal rest on the morning of September 6, 2008, Ralph William Dixon, Husband of Katherine Sink Dixon. Residence, Charleston, South Carolina.

The relatives and friends of Mr. Dixon are invited to attend his funeral services on Monday, September 8, 2008 at two thirty o'clock at Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel. Burial to follow in Live Oak Memorial Garden.

Family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from five until seven o'clock at J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL. In Lieu of flowers memorial may be made to The National Kidney Foundation of SC, 500 Taylor Street, Ste. 101, Columbia, SC. 29201 .

Mr. Dixon was born on June 27, 1948 in New York City, NY, a son of Ralph A. Dixon and Catherine Carradus Dixon. He was employed as an investigator with the Department of Defense. He was a Citadel graduate where he received his BA degree in History. Mr. Dixon was an Army Vietnam War Veteran and served with the 101st Airborne division. He was a Christian.

He was a member of the V.F.W. and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. Surviving are his wife of Charleston; a daughter Kimberly Dixon Harkins and husband Steven Michael of Charleston, SC; one brother David Allen Dixon of Charleston, SC; one sister Joan Strickland of Westerly, RI; one grandson Ryan Michael Harkins.

He was preceded in death by a brother James Edward Dixon.
