Henry Casper Backhaus

Died at his home Saturday evening at 7:30, Mr. Henry Backhaus Sr. at the age of 65.
He has for some time been a sufferer of Consumption. He leaves a wife and six children, John, Henry, Kate, Annie, Mrs. Mary Putzier, and Maggie Mueller, to mourn
his loss. His remains will be laid to rest at the cemetery at this place Tuesday. Rev. 0. Gammelin will conduct the funeral service.
