Esta M. Wells, 73, of Rt. 1, Creal Springs, was found dead at 7:30 a.m. today in her home. Death was due to natural causes.
Mrs. Wells was born Oct. 28, 1900, in Johnson County to James L. and Emmaline Albright Mohler. She had been a resident of Creal Springs for 11 years. Four sisters, Della Deaton, Lula Smith, Mahala Howerton, and Effie Burton, and three brothers, Arthur and Ray Mohler and an infant brother, all preceded her in death.
Survivors are her husband, Kenneth; two daughters, Kathryn Beasley of Rt. 1, Creal Springs, and Lula Marie Heinz of Summit; three sons, James W. Choate of Hanover Park, Clarence Choate, Jr. of Rockford, and Robert Lee Choate of LaGrange Park.
Funeral arrangements are pending at the Cosby Funeral Home in Creal Springs.
