*for reason no one understands, once Father Frank Hunsicker moved out of the State of Ohio, he changed his spelling from Hunsicker to Hunsaker. Each and every ancestor from Canada to PA. spells it Hunsicker. Frank and children's children to this very day spell it Hunsaker.

DAN M. HUNSAKER
Lifelong White Salmon resident Dan M. Hunsaker died March 25 at Skyline Hospital. He was 84.
Mr. Hunsaker was born Dec. 11, 1906 in White Salmon to Mary F. (Mathews) and Frank Hunsaker. He graduated from Columbia Union High School in 1925; married Eneth Miller in 1929. She preceded him in death in 1988.
For many years Mr. Hunsaker worked for his father as a petroleum distributor them took over for him in mid 1940s. He retired in 1972.
Mr. Hunsaker was a member for over 50 years of the Masonic Lodge 163; Mt. View Grange 98; Shriners; a rockhound and former member of the Hood River Agate Club. He loved to hunt, fish and cut wood.
He is survived by his children, Frank, of White Salmon, Dan, of East Wenatchee, Richard, of White Salmon, Ruth Brown, of Bothell; 15 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held on March 28 at White Salmon Cemetery. Contributions may be given in to White Salmon Masonic Lodge 163.
