Macomb, IL - Marilyn Bressler, 74, of 500 James Drive, Macomb passed away peacefully at 4 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19, 2008, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb after a prolonged struggle.

She was born on Feb. 26, 1934, in Canton to Walter and Leila Hedden Hahn. She married Delbert "Del" Bressler on Sept. 3, 1954, in East Peoria.

Surviving are her husband, Del, of 54 years; four children, Dawn (Bob) Veach of Alpharetta, Ga., Lori (Reed) Romania of Rancho Mirage, Calif., Dan (Nancy) Bressler of Macomb and Lee (Bob) Smith of Macomb; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Pat Fitton of Largo, Fla., and Carole Gruber of Fort Myers, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother.

Marilyn lived in Bartonville and Canton before moving to Macomb in 1968.

She was a member of the Jerusalem United Methodist Church since 1969.

Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Macomb.
