Mrs. John Davis died at a McPherson hospital last Sunday, and Monday the body was brought to Valley Falls for burial. Mrs. Davis was formerly Edith Belle Vandruff and has many friends here who extend sympathy to the sorrowing relatives.

Edith Belle Vandruff was born November 18, 1884, and died July 24, 1927, aged 42 years, 8 months and 6 days.

She was united in marriage with Mr. John Davis on January 18, 1905, and to this union were born four children, Cecil, Helen, Alvin and Mildred.

With her husband she moved to McPherson in the fall of 1908 and in 1926 the family moved to Geneseo where she lived until her death.

Mrs. Davis united with the Congregational church at Valley Falls in 1903 and after moving to McPherson she united with the Baptist church, of which she was a faithful member until death.

Services were held from the Methodist church here Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 conducted by Rev. I. N. Reid and interment was in the Valley Falls cemetery.
