Son of Ferdinand F. & Emilienne (LeBlanc) Bourgeois, he was born in Cape Bald (Cap-Pelé), Westmorland Co., New Brunswick, Canada. He was married twice. His first wife was Leonie Hebert, and they had a daughter, Mary Edith. I do not know what happened to them. He then married widow Dina (Cormier) Brun at Springhill on July 7, 1901. They were the parents of Helen, Beatrice, Leo and Agnes. His wife and their children later came to the United States.
Napoleon's death certificate states he was a laborer who lived on Pleasant Street in Amherst. His cause of death was given as an "accident in car works", apparently eight days before he died.
