Survivors: his wife; daughters Pauline Couchman of Seymour, Marilyn Overturf of Kelly and June Thomasson of Chariton; a son, DeWayne of Blakesburg; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, Wilson of Ottumwa.
