He publically subscribed to the covenant of the First Church of Hartford on Feb. 3, 1722 and chosen Deacon on December, 1748 and remained in this postion until his death. He was the Colony of Connecticut Treasurer for many years.
He married Esther Pratt on April 27, 1727 at the First Church of Hartford. He died at age 79 years.
