Ruth L. Fields
Ruth L. Fields, daughter of David Michaelson and Bernice Wolf Michaelson was born on July 2, 1925 in Kansas City, MO and passed away on Dec. 21, 2008 in Ava, MO at the age of 83 years.
Ruth and her husband , Gary, loved the Ozarks. They often traveled from their home in Kansas City, MO to their home east of Ava in the Sweden community. For many years they came and went until their retirement in 2003. Ruth's husband, Gary passed a short time after moving to the Ava area. She was also preceded in death by her parents and an infant child.
Ruth was a Secretary and retired from City Utilities in Kansas City, MO. She was an animal lover of dogs and an advocate for the Humane Society.
She will be missed by her loving friends.
Graveside service for Ruth will be Friday, Dec. 26, 2008, 2:00 p.m. at the Sweden Cemetery with Rev. Robert Grisham officiating.
