Thomas Charles Bowles Pitts, 520 Higuera St., was pronounced dead at San Luis General Hospital at 7:35 p.m.

Pitts was born October 1, 1957, in Oakland, coming to San Luis Obispo as an infant. He attended local schools and was a sophomore at San Luis Obispo Senior High at the time of his death.
