Carrie Louisa Williamson was the 5th child of James Upson Williamson and Francia Nelson Williamson, She was born in Oglethorpe, Macon, GA on 3 Sep 1874.
On 22 Aug 1896 she married Mathew Bosker Burkett in Eula, Alachua, FL.
They had six children: George Mathew Burkett (1897-1972); James Thomas Burkett (1899-1971); Jesse Lee Burkett (1901-1981); Louella Reatha Burkett Middlebrooks (1907-1993); Effie Margaret "Pat" Burkett Gillespie (1909-1981); Odessa Maranda Burkett Motes (1911-2004).
Besides resting near her husband and his parents; her mother; her brother, William E Williamson; and her sister, Sarah Williamson Harrell, are also buried in Conway Cemetery.
Also interred at Conway Cemetery are three of her children: James Thomas, Louella, and Odessa, and a great-grandaughter, Odessa Margie Boswell Cappuccio. Sons, George and Jesse are buried in Glen Haven Memorial Park, Winter Park, Orange, FL and daughter, "Pat" is buried in Daytona Memorial Park, Volusia County, FL.
