Valentine F. Goldshein, a retired Clerk for the United Merchants and Manufacturing in New York and a longtime resident of Chester, NY, died peacefully at Orange Regional Medical Center Arden Hill Campus, Goshen, NY. She was 89 years of age.
Val was very active as a volunteer at Orange Regional Medical Center, Arden Hill Campus for many years and a member of the Chester Golden Age Club of Chester, of which she loved participating in all of the club's various functions and so looked forward to the weekly meetings.
The daughter of the late Peter and Grace Zakrzewski she was born in New York City on February 19, 1919.
Val was the wife of the late Solomon Goldshein, "her darling husband" who predeceased her.
She is survived by her brother, Gregory and her nieces: Barbara, Cathy, Joan, Stephanie, Anne and Tania.
Val was also predeceased by her sister, Genevieve and brother Peter.
There will be no visitation and services will be private as per Val's wishes.
