EVELYN ALBERS DIES OF ACCIDENT INJURIES SUNDAY
Evelyn May Albers, age 17, of Groveland, died as the result of injuries received in an automobile accident near San Rafael Sunday. Miss Albers lived with Supervisor and Mrs Merrell in Groveland and attended the Sonora Union High School for two years.
Miss Albers was returning to school at San Rafael Sunday evening after spending the summer with her foster parents. A native of this county, she had spent the greater part of her life here. Two cousins, boys, and another girl accompanying her, were not injured.

She leaves her mother, Mrs Ida Albers, two sisters, Florence and Marian, one brother, Ernest and two step-brothers, Clarence and Gaylord Albers, of Sonora, and other relatives.
Services were held from the Burden Chapel at 2 op'clock Thursday afternoon, internment was in the I O O F cemetery on Sonora.
