William Banks of Spruce Creek Expires
After Retiring.
Word has been received by Altoona
relatives and friends that William Banks
of Spruce Creek was found dead in his bed
by members of the household on Sunday
morning. When Mr. Banks retired he was
apparently in good health. The doctor
who was callled in said death had preceded
the finding of the body by a few hours.
Mr. Banks was in is 70th year and was
highly respected resident of Spruce Creek.
He is survived by four children, all of
Tyrone, they being Willilam, Clara, Ida
and Mae. The funeral will be held tomorrow
from his late residence. Mr. William Grove
of 712 Tenth street is a niece of the deceased.
