Ruth was born January 29, 1916 in York County, daughter of the late Harry I. and Jennie (Werner) Kendig. She was employed for many years as a seamstress in the local area and retired from the former Bernstein's Sewing Company in York.
Mrs. Baublitz is survived by her daughter-in-law, Nedra A. Baublitz of York; three grandchildren, Seth D. Baublitz, D.O. and wife, Laleh Radfar-Baublitz, D.O., of Lititz, Jennie-Corinne R. Baublitz-Brenenborg, D.O., and husband, Steven, and Livia K. Baublitz, D.O., all of York; and three great-grandchildren, Ariana Sage Baublitz, Breven D. Baublitz, and Annelies R. Brenenborg.
Mrs. Baublitz was preceded in death by her son, Douglas L. Baublitz, on July 21, 2004; her brother, Irvin Kendig; and her sister, Leona Nace.
Private graveside service will be held at Mt. Rose Cemetery in York.
