Mr. Joseph Allen, one of the oldest citizens of Mt. Jackson, died on Wednesday morning. Mr. Allen was the last of a large and prominent family. His brothers John J., Israel, Homer, Reuben, and probably others having preceded him in their removal to the spirit land. Mr. Allen is survived by his widow, one son, Mr. Linden Allen, and three daughters, Mrs. A.L. Grandstaff, Mrs. Henry Wunder, and Mrs. Samuel Moore. He was buried at Mt.
